Jim’s Auto Care has been a trusted part of the Grabill community for more than five decades. Originally established as Jim’s Sunoco in 1968, the business was built on family values, hard work, and a commitment to putting customers first. Over the years, we have evolved alongside the automotive industry, transitioning from a full-service gas station to a modern automotive repair facility equipped with advanced technology and diagnostic capabilities.
Today, our family-owned shop operates across two buildings with eight service bays, allowing us to continue providing the dependable service our community has relied on for generations.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Scott Hinkle has spent his entire life around automobiles and the family business. Growing up in the shop his father purchased in 1968, Scott developed a passion for automotive repair at an early age and quickly embraced the technological evolution of the industry. Through continuous education, advanced diagnostic training, and active involvement in organizations such as iATN and the Autonerdz Pico Scope community, Scott has remained at the forefront of modern vehicle diagnostics. Since purchasing the business in 2013, he has continued building on his family’s legacy of honesty and service. Outside the shop, Scott enjoys traveling with his family, visiting amusement parks, spending time along the Gulf Coast, and supporting his daughter’s activities at Purdue University.
